The Bigger Picture

Due to so many teams showing interest in signing Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, Dortmund had no option but to up the price of the player to a  €100 million (£85m) valuation. However, this big figure has chased away some of the clubs showing interest. Realising this, Dortmund has no option but to soften its stance. According to Ruhr Nachrichten, a more realistic fee in the range of €50-60 million (£42.6m–51m) is now being discussed.

Before joining Dortmund, Jamie Bynoe-Gittens was playing for the Manchester City youth team. The England international is currently a contract with Dortmund till 2028.
